This a new illustration for a book about the history of Brittany under the reign of Louis 14. You can see two warships, the one in the foreground is a creation of mine based on an old engraving. The second ship on the horizon is "le Soleil Royal". Even if it's not easy to see it, the workers clothe are based on real ancient clothe. Gosh, these boats needed a lot of time and patience ;)
And the white Ermine, which is the symbol of Brittany.

Voici une nouvelle illustration pour un livre sur les Bretons sous le reigne de Louis 14. Vous pouvez voir deux navires de guerre, celui au premier plan est une invention basée sur une ancienne gravure. Le second sur l'horizon est "le Soleil Royal". Même si on ne s'en rend pas vraiment compte, les vêtements des ouvriers sont d'époque, autant que faire se peut. Mon dieu que les navires m'ont donné du fil à retordre :D

Et la blanche Hermine qui est le symbole de la Bretagne.
